Privacy & Security Policy
Minder's Data Decree: We don't share or poach your data for other purposes. Our loyalty is not divided. It's your data... and we're your Minder.
To that end, we strive to be honest and transparent about doing business with our customers. Our Privacy Policy outlines our practices with your personal information - how we collect, use, disclose, transfer and store your information. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
What information does Minder collect?
Minder collects information from you when you subscribe to our newsletter, make a purchase, log into your account, request information, or register for a webinar. The information collected may include your name, shipping address, billing address, email address, phone number, and credit card number. In addition to your personal information, we may maintain a record of your purchases made online or through a retailer. When you visit our website, we use technology called a “cookie” to maintain a record of your activity on the website.
How is my personal information used?
Personal information that is collected is used to confirm and process your order, to contact you regarding updates to your order or to provide you with marketing information regarding website and product updates, special promotions, webinar offerings, professional tips and resources, etc.
How do you protect my personal information?
Minder protects your personal information through digital practices and company practices.
Our website uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt your personal information during data transmission and storage. Once you begin the checkout process you will be in secure mode and should see either a solid key icon or a locked padlock icon at the bottom of your Internet browser window. In addition, the beginning of the Minder URL address at the top of your browser should change from “http” to “https”, the “s” standing for secure. The Minder website also displays the VeriSign Secure Site Seal, which indicates that the site has been authenticated by VeriSign and that confidential transactions with our site are secured by SSL encryption.
As a company, Minder operates internally over a private, secure network. Personal information is accessed by Minder through electronic portals and is not kept on mobile technology that may be used by offsite workers. Our company practices include a “clean desk” policy, which means that all physical files and other identifying information are removed and secured at the end of the day to prevent unauthorized access. This policy extends to “clean desktop” electronic practices. All portals are password protected, are behind firewalls, and are closed out when work is culminated.
Will my personal information be shared?
Your relationship is with us. Minder does not distribute, lease, sell, trade or rent your personal information. Minder does not provide your information to third-parties for marketing or promotional purposes. However, we may provide personal information to authorized vendors, such as Federal Express and MailChimp, in order to provide services like fulfilling orders, processing payments, tracking website activity, conducting surveys, delivering content, or administering emails.
